InStyle has yet more photos of Claire, Seventeen has a photo on pg 48 along with a mention in the Alica article, and Claire is on the cover of the August issue of Buzz magazine under the title "The Best Actress Under 40 Just Turned 18" (along with one of the best articles yet), not the October issue as earlier reported. And for those who've been spending far too much time wondering where she'll be going to school...the article indicates that she has been accepted into Yale, but will be delaying it for a year since she's got all these films being offered to her now.

July 2 - Mr Showbiz asks which insanely famous celebrities would you like to see pair up, à la Cage-Travolta in Face/Off, for the next round of blockbusters? Oh, how about Claire Danes and Natalie Portman? From someone who managed to see the first test screening of The Rainmaker: "The acting in the film is superb. Clare Danes, Danny Glover, Danny DeVito, Jon Voight and Harry Dean Stanton comprise a cast that delivers full, well-rounded characters. Danes (as a battered woman befriended by Baylor) and Glover (as a compassionate judge) especially turn in exceptional work." Read the full text here.

July 1 - The people at People Online(!) have added a wonderfully detailed profile of Claire to their site. The following interesting tidbit was sent to me about Claire possibly being in contention for the movie version of Death: The High Cost of Living.

I met Neil Gaiman a week or so ago at his reading/signing tour for his new Neverwhere novel. I asked him how Claire got involved with writing the intro to Death: The Time of Your Life. He said that initially the Indigo Girls were to write the intro but they were on tour and hard to get in touch with. So Neil asked his agent who else was a fan who might want to write it. His agent mentioned that Claire was a fan and a week or so later, he received the intro. I also mentioned that she'd be a good candidate for playing Death in the movie version of Death: The High Cost of Living. Neil said he'd love to meet her and some actress from The Craft (whose name I can't remember) as potential candidates.
Finally, Romeo and Juliet will be available for sale "priced to own" on August 19th in the US.
